1) Be selective - 'don't spray them around like a tomcat' You'll undermine what makes it special to receive one.

2) Don't ever expect anything in return. The 'receiver' is never under any obligation to you.

3) Step well away from the person after you have given them a card.

4) Use the cards to show appreciation to colleagues, friends or family members who've done something kind or fabulous.

5) The whole idea of these cards is to be polite, respectful and to show genuine appreciation. Please remember that at all times.

When you receive a  WowCard

1)  NEVER mock or laugh at anyone who gives you a card - even if or when they are not 'your type'. It takes a bit of courage to give a card. It might be the first time they've ever done it. Don't discourage them.

2) You are never under any obligation to talk to the card giver, but common courtesy isn't difficult. And it doesn't cost anything. Simply smile as your way of conveying 'thank you'.
